The Nitekings

A street corner R & B doo-wop sound would best describe the group the NiteKings. My name is Richard Perez and I restarted the NiteKings in Las Vegas in 1978. The original NiteKings, Frank "Twigg" Acosta, Dave Lamson, Bob Esson, Tony Fernandez and Dave Mc Clintock began in my home town of Pontiac Michigan just 20 miles up Woodward Avenue north of Detroit. The Group now consists of Richard Perez, Angelo Mastrio, Tony Prescia and Skip Petronzio.The group sings songs from the 1950's, 60's, 70's and the 1980's usually consisting of pre and early Motown, or classic soul. The NiteKings play live accompanied by the NiteKing Band. The NiteKings performance will make you want to get up and dance. One can't help singing along as the music brings back memories of the past. The NiteKings have definitely become a local favorite.
